Purple Pumpkin Sketch Challenge (Feb)

Over at Purple Pumkin there is a Fantastic sketch challenge this month designed by the very talented Crece Thomas. Below is my take on the sketch!

Using some PP yummies, Prima mask, Imaginsce Papers and an old CD .. I was able to create my take on this sketch. To finish off I used stitching on the page inspired by Anne Patterson who always uses stitching on her titles.. just awesome thanks Anne for inspiring me.. xx

Scraplounge Challenge January 2012

Hey there is a great sketch challenge over at Scrap lounge this month so if you want to get in quick there is still some time left to enter your own take on it for a chance to win a prize!

This is the sketch created by one the creative team members - Mel McKenzie

The theme this month is holidays .. so this is my take on the sketch. We were on a holidays down the coast when these photos were taken. The papers I used were Fancy Pants and I used Terri Barclays chipboard.

I cut out some of the thongs from this range and 3d them .. I loved the little pegs and they went perfectly on the twine.

Acetate Appeal - First Time Published !!

I was so excited to have my first publication in Scrapbook Creations.

I did a layout using Acetate and I was so happy when they emailed me and said "Yes" It is a Project page as well so thats a bonus!

I have to thank my darling Niece Kaithlyn for being my model in the phote..!!

When I get the layout back I will put a better photo of it on here so you can see the detail.. mean while a snap shot from my mobile will have to do..

Bo Bunny Layout to share

Hello again.. just thought i would share a layout I did using the scrumptious range from Bo Bunny - Et Cetera. At first when I looked at this range I was unsure .. with its very simular colors made it a challenge for me .. and so it begun... I added some Prima butterflies, Lace , a vintage key and pearls to complement the range and I was very happy the way it turned out. I actually ended up threading the string of pearls through the paper but the picture doesn't do it justice...

My First Scrapbooking page for 2012

Hi Everyone :-

Happy New New.. This year hasn't started off the best for me as I was sick but at last I am feeling better and finally have a chance to start scrapping again. !! So for my first project for 2012 I have decided to do the sketch challenge at Stick n Giggle . Jody has put up a great sketch challenge to do which is below! Why not head over there and give it a go for yourself.

And this is my take on the sketch - Using one of my favourite ranges from Basic Grey and Zva bling along with Stick & Giggles hand made crochet dollies I was able to complete the challenge. I also used one of Heidi Swapp's mirror butterflies, Green Tara flowers and Pearls .

Purple Pumpkin December Sketch Challenge

This month over at Purple Pumpkin There a Great Challenge for the month of December created by Sara Noendeng

This is my take on the challenge. I used some yummy "3 Bugs" papers along with Purple Pumpkin embellishments and some cute "Embellishment Plus" butterflies

The title was created by painting a chipboard word from WOW and topping it with some Jo Sonja's glitter paint. I also added some extra course glitter for a different effect.
