Purple Pumpkin Sketch Challenge (Feb)

Over at Purple Pumkin there is a Fantastic sketch challenge this month designed by the very talented Crece Thomas. Below is my take on the sketch!

Using some PP yummies, Prima mask, Imaginsce Papers and an old CD .. I was able to create my take on this sketch. To finish off I used stitching on the page inspired by Anne Patterson who always uses stitching on her titles.. just awesome thanks Anne for inspiring me.. xx

This is the sketch created by one the creative team members - Mel McKenzie

The theme this month is holidays .. so this is my take on the sketch. We were on a holidays down the coast when these photos were taken. The papers I used were Fancy Pants and I used Terri Barclays chipboard.

I cut out some of the thongs from this range and 3d them .. I loved the little pegs and they went perfectly on the twine.

Acetate Appeal - First Time Published !!

I was so excited to have my first publication in Scrapbook Creations.

I did a layout using Acetate and I was so happy when they emailed me and said "Yes" It is a Project page as well so thats a bonus!

I have to thank my darling Niece Kaithlyn for being my model in the phote..!!

When I get the layout back I will put a better photo of it on here so you can see the detail.. mean while a snap shot from my mobile will have to do..

Bo Bunny Layout to share

Hello again.. just thought i would share a layout I did using the scrumptious range from Bo Bunny - Et Cetera. At first when I looked at this range I was unsure .. with its very simular colors made it a challenge for me .. and so it begun... I added some Prima butterflies, Lace , a vintage key and pearls to complement the range and I was very happy the way it turned out. I actually ended up threading the string of pearls through the paper but the picture doesn't do it justice...

My First Scrapbooking page for 2012

Hi Everyone :-

Happy New New.. This year hasn't started off the best for me as I was sick but at last I am feeling better and finally have a chance to start scrapping again. !! So for my first project for 2012 I have decided to do the sketch challenge at Stick n Giggle . Jody has put up a great sketch challenge to do which is below! Why not head over there and give it a go for yourself.

And this is my take on the sketch - Using one of my favourite ranges from Basic Grey and Zva bling along with Stick & Giggles hand made crochet dollies I was able to complete the challenge. I also used one of Heidi Swapp's mirror butterflies, Green Tara flowers and Pearls .

Purple Pumpkin December Sketch Challenge

This month over at Purple Pumpkin There a Great Challenge for the month of December created by Sara Noendeng

This is my take on the challenge. I used some yummy "3 Bugs" papers along with Purple Pumpkin embellishments and some cute "Embellishment Plus" butterflies

The title was created by painting a chipboard word from WOW and topping it with some Jo Sonja's glitter paint. I also added some extra course glitter for a different effect.

Just thought I would share with you what I did using Prima masks! I love using masks at the moment. I found by high lighting the mask image with a Kutalicious Frame it really made the photo pop!

Finished off with a beautiful Prima rhinestone flourish, Prima flowers and Kutalicious mirror bird just did the trick to complete this layout . Thanks for looking :)

Hi Everyone
Just want to share a layout I did but I repeated it in two different paper ranges.
The first one I did was using the K*I Memories - Posh range and then I taught a class using the popular Bo Bunny range.Its funny how two different ranges can make your one layout look completely different.
The first layout is Bo Bunny... This second Layout is using K*I Memories.

and of course most of my layouts have some sort of bling on it... Naturally ...

Kaiser Craft - "Chapter One" Range

Hi Everyone

I know that I said I was going to be blogging more but I ended up very sick in Hospital but thankfully I am on the road to recovery and what better way to get back on your feet than is to Scrap!!!. My Business Partner and Beautiful Friend sent home one of the latest ranges from Kaiser Craft to play with . So While I was getting better this is a couple of layouts I did using the one range. I have also made some hand made cards in which i will post them shortly.

This Layout was done using the 12 x 12 Transparency... I love them now I have used them...

Prima Layout to share

I haven't been blogging for alittle while now but I have finally sorted my self out and will be posting some more projects that I have been working on. In the Layout below I used the beautiful Prima Papers . I have also used Green Tara flowers and embellishments along with "Kutalicious" Bird cage embellisment. I Have distressed and used the Yummy Glimmer mists to give this layout a pearly finish.

Basic Grey - Granola Range

I decided to do two layouts using the same range to show how by using the same papers you create a Boys or Girls Layout. This layout I used an XCut Sqaure nesting punch to cut out a patchwork look and I reversed it on the other layout . Adding glimmer mist and distressing all the edges you can create a natural looking layout for any occasion. Adding twine to your layout will also give it a natural finish.

This is two layouts I did with Basic Grey Papers. I enjoyed distressing the edges and making my own distressed flower like embellishments using EK circle punches and Brads and of course I added Lace to complete the effect.

A Layout is a combination of the beautiful "Le Chateau " papers, glimmer mist and Kaisers pearls. The embellishments are the new Wooden flourishes from Kaiser. I personally just love them.

Kaiser La Di Da Range

It is my opinion, This is one of the prettiest ranges Kaiser has created .( La Di Da ) I loved playing with this range. The photo is not the best but I enjoyed how I created a simple layout then added stitching to highlight the butterfly embellishment and my own paper flower . I so love making my own embellishments lately especially flowers....

The first day we were in Sydney Donna from AS4E dropped us off to Parramatta shopping centre for some well earned retail theraphy. When we finally decided to go back to Home Bush we caught a train... Well to my surprise it was a double decker train. I had never seen one except for the overlander type trains. It was fun to ride on one... LOL.. little things amuse small minds..LOL.. this is Cressey and Carolyn... enjoying the ride...
On the first day of SIA we met up with Joy from Bumble bee in Brisbane and we got to do the most adorable card at their stand .

and Carolyn is displaying the finished product... it's so cute

We also got to have some fun after our make and take at the Scrapeware stand. Those girls were so lovely and talented....

Hi Everyone... just got back from SIA in Sydney .. It was fantastic.. Have met some amazing people ... Done the best classes... and learnt so much in such a short time. I went with my business partner Cressey , along with my teacher from the shop Carolyn, and good friend Nerrida. We started on Monday where the lovely Donna from AS4E, came and picked us up and took us to her warehouse. We had such fun doing some make and takes and then she dropped us off to Paramatta shopping centre for some well earned shopping .... It was an early start on Tuesday as our classes started at 8am , but it was so worth it as Cressey and I got to meet the lovely and amazing Wendy Senger.. (Tattered Angels) ... and we spend the next 2 hours playing with Glimmer Mists... How exciting are they!!!

Wendy and Heidi Swapp have been in Australia for the past few weeks doing the" Mistified" classes along with SIA ... If you were one of the lucky one's to attend these classes I am sure you weren't disappointed as both of these girls are truly talented... It was Great!!

Kaiser Papers - Devonshire range

I really enjoyed this page. I used 7 Gypsies as a base page and then had fun playing with Memory Mists . I love the effect it gives not only your paper but i used it on the lace as well. The embellishments pack from Kaiser was so pretty, from its lace roses to the wonderful pearl brads.
I also made another layout using the Kaiser " Devonshire " range and I will post that soon. Out of my scraps.. I mean SCRAPS! I got to make two cards with the left overs. I find it gets rid of those little bits and pieces and you have a wonderful hand made card to give some one..

This is yet a different look at what I did with The Imaginese papers. and I am still going...lol

This is another layout I used the Imaginesce ( lucy bird) range. Again by making my own hand made flowers , the "ITop" to make the wonderful brad centres and of course Bling!! I just love how it all came together. I am so hooked on the tool... If you notice I even put rhinestones on my niece's necklace and it gave it a real 3d feel...

Wow... what a lovely paper this range is .. Imaginesce - Lucy Bird.. I have actually done 3 Layotus with paper range and still have left overs to make more. I purchased the new "ITOP"

from imaginesce as well... and now I can't stop playin with it. Its just brilliant. Not only can you use it with paper, you can also use it with fabric and photo's as well. This amazing little brad making is a must for any serious scrapper...I Love it!!

I have been doing a lot of Scrapbooking layouts but have had no time to post any ... My Shop is just going so well... its keeping me very busy. I will posting some layouts i have been working on very soon. Above it a layout I did using Basic Grey papers... I love this range and better than that they are actually double sided , which is something Basic Grey doesn't usually do. I hand made my flowers but I have to say I used my friends children on the layout as I have only boys and I needed some girls shots for these papers. I love how the end result came around and hope you do to.

Had my Christmas Party for Fancy That last Friday Night (11th Dec). It was just brilliant. Thanks girls for helping me celebrate . Thanks for all your Love, Friendship and Support over the past year especially over the last few months . I really have appreciated all your well wishes and making me feel so wanted in the Scrapbooking community . I have been working with some beautiful pages and I must say I am pretty happy with how these two layouts turned out. I love the new Christmas pages that are available at the moment... I just lack the photos to go with them. This Christmas I plan to have camera ready in hand to capture heaps of wonderful moments.
